Anticipated TEAL FAQs
I have tried to work out what questions people may have about the
Thurgoona Easy Art Lessons (TEAL) classes.
This is what I have come up with so far,...
Q: What is the cost per lesson?
A: For this year (2024) we will be charging $15 per class (ie each week). You pay for the class on the morning you attend. This is why the attendance time is 11:00am. This allows time to write receipts and process class fees.
The actual classes will start at 11:30am and I'd prefer not to disrupt the class by stopping to write receipts for late arrivals.
Q: The time of the classes is from
11:00am to 3:00pm. Is there a lunch break?
A: The class times to go over what would be called normal
lunch breaks.
The actual "Learning Time" for the classes will be from 11:30am to
2:30[m (3 hours).
It will be your choice as to how you handle this issue. You can either,
- Have a meal before you arrive,
- Bring something to eat as you do your class exercise, or,
- Skip lunch and work through the class,..
Q: Where are the classes held?
A: The classes will be held in the Thurgoona Community Centre's Hall. This is a separate building to the main Thurgoona Community Centre's offices and is to the north of the main car park. You can't miss it as it is surrounded by lawns.
Q: Will there be coffee/tea making
facilities?
A: Yes, the hall is equipped with a wall mounted urn (hot water),
and we have cups/mugs etc.
There will be instant coffee and tea bags, etc. available, and I
will try to have some "Long Life" milk for each lesson.
There is also a microwave oven in the hall should you wish to heat
food/drinks etc., and a cooktop & oven.
You are more than welcome to bring your own coffee/tea if you prefer.
