Information about the painting.

This scene was painted during the La Niña period in North East Victoria that resulted in continuing wet whether.  As a result, green grass was everywhere during the summer months instead of the typical dry grass you would see in an Australian landscape.

I was hesitant to paint this scene due to dominance of green, but decided to go ahead with it because it will form a a historical record.

This cabin is located on the west side of the Yackandandah to Myrtleford road where Carrolls Road intersects it.  The cabin is starting to deteriorate as can be seen by the missing roof sheets and the way the cabin is leaning away from the chimney.

This Painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, completed and signed by me, Graham Wade, (the Artist).
