Information about the painting.

When I stopped at the intersection of Carrolls Raod and the Yackandandah-Myrtleford Road to have a look at some nearby buildings, I saw this old disused Roadside Mail Box (RMB) being overtaken by shrubbery.

I remembered back to when I was a young kid growing up in a rural environment in the 1960s. We had an old wooden box nailed to a corner fence post although this one is a bit fancier.  Mail, bread and other items were delivered to us and placed in that wooden mail box.

With this memory, I immediately I saw a potential painting.  A quick sketch and a few photos for detail and I had most of what I needed.  I drew it all up and invented the mail in the box and laying on the ground and I was set to go.

This Painting comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, completed and signed by me, Graham Wade, (the Artist).
